***LIST NOW CLOSED***

Pups will chew and can be destructive for months, they like to be on the go for the majority of the time, they need a lot of daily training and supervision, if you do not have the time to train every day please do not express your interest.

Skamp is 6 months old and has had a significant injury at such a young age that this will have an effect on his health as he grows, this will NOT be covered by Insurance so anyone interested would need to be able to cover veterinary costs as and when needed.

Type of Home:  Skamp needs a specific home to cater to his needs, he had a Femoral head and neck excision due to a broken bone in his back leg, he is undergoing daily physio and limited exercise, this is essential to his recovery.  As a result of this type of surgery on a young dog there maybe some structural changes in the limb as the dog grows, limb shortening, less muscle mass, a limp and in smaller breeds possibly Patellar Luxation (a slipping kneecap) all this is a possibility and needs to be considered, without any complications they can lead a happy, pain free life if they are kept at a healthy weight and given the correct rehabilitation…this is important.  A calm structured household suitable for a pup would be best for Skamp, he is a feisty little boy who needs a lot of training and boundaries in place to be best boy he can be.

DOGS: Intro`s can be done with small calm dogs (females must be spayed)

CHILDREN: Calm children over 14 years old

Cats: Unsure

PREVIOUS HISTORY GIVEN: Skamp came into our care as a stray so we do not have any previous history on him.

If you would like to express your interest in Skamp please call into kennels to complete a questionaire, PLEASE NOTE SKAMP WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR INTRODUCTIONS AT THIS STAGE.
